Every nation runs on a story. Britain's was the island that stood alone against the Nazis. But with less than 1% of the population having actually lived it still here today, the national story has turned its final page. A new story must take its place, and currently, nobody is writing it well...
Ask anyone in the 60s and 70s what the future would look like, and their imaginations would soar; Flying cars, Jetpacks, Moon bases- but where did it all go? And why does it all feel so unrealistic today?
