Jack Rankin, Conservative MP for Windsor, became the second Member of Parliament to publicly identify as an Anglofuturist.
In a post from Rankin on X of his son Ted blowing out the candles on a space-themed birthday cake, complete with rockets, planets, and a Union Jack on the moon. "Celebrating a little Anglofuturist's birthday today," he wrote. "Union Jack on the moon."

When we asked in the replies whether that made him an Anglofuturist too, he replied simply: "Yes!"
It's a small exchange, but it captures something real. That te instinct to plant a British flag on the moon is something worth dreaming about for a four-year-old.
